Only a 30 minute drive from our venue, Paso Robles Wine Country is known for its rolling vineyards, award-winning wines, and welcoming tasting rooms. Beaches, beaches... and more beaches!

The beaches near Cayucos feature a charming blend of wide sandy shores, excellent surfing waves, and dramatic cliffs with hidden coves. A few of our favorites are Morro Bay Dog Beach, Avila Beach, and Moonstone Beach

Kayaking and Paddleboarding

Hop on a kayak or paddleboard and enjoy beautiful views of the bay. There are many rental companies located on the 'Embarcadero' right on the water in Morro Bay!

Wildlife

The Central Coast is home to a diverse array of wildlife on land, sea, and air! In Morro Bay, you can view adorable sea otters at one of the viewing areas along the water. If you head up the coast a bit, visit the Elephant Seal Vista Point in San Simeon to view these massive marine mammals up close. If you venture out on a whale watching excursion, you may spot the dolphins, sea lions, and seasonal whales that inhabit nearby coastal waters!

Hiking

Nearby hiking offers a variety of trails with stunning coastal views, serene forests, and diverse ecosystems. Popular spots include Morro Bay State Park, with trails like Black Hill and Cerro Cabrillo, and Montaña de Oro State Park, known for its rugged coastline and scenic routes like the Bluff Trail and Valencia Peak.
